Every document the platform touches — LOAs sent, contracts signed, proposals generated, bills you parsed, customer-uploaded files — lives in the Documents page. Everything is linked back to its customer record and tagged by type.
What's in here
- Sent documents — LOAs and contracts you sent via DocuSeal, with signature status
- Signed documents — completed copies returned by the signer, stored as final PDFs
- Generated proposals — every proposal PDF you've built, with the customer and date stamped
- Uploaded bills — utility bills parsed by the AI bill parser
- Other — anything you've uploaded manually against a customer record
How to find a document
Three paths, depending on what you remember:
- By customer. Open the customer record. The Documents tab shows every file linked to that customer.
- By date. Use the date-range filter on the Documents page. Default is last 30 days.
- By search. The global command palette (Cmd + K) searches document titles and the customer they're linked to.
Tips & gotchas
Need to hand over a folder of contracts for a quarterly audit or a switching-supplier review? Filter to the date range you need, select all, and click Download as ZIP. Each file is named {customer-legal-name}_{document-type}_{date}.pdf.
The platform soft-deletes files (admins can restore), but signed REP contracts are records-of-truth. If you need to remove one for any reason, ask support — there are compliance considerations.
Documents are retained for the life of your brokerage plus 7 years to match the standard Texas commercial records retention window. If you cancel your plan, you can request a full export before your data is purged.
